Skanonh “A Haudenosaunee Greeting of Peace”
The Iroquois Nationals were recently awarded a grant for $40,000 for the annual International Fall Ball Lacrosse Tournament season. Our first event was held September 28 & 29 on the campus of Cortland State University, Cortland, New York. The Iroquois Nationals Board of Directors have decided to make the $40,000 grant a matching grant. We are asking our supporters to help match this $40,000 grant. You can click here to donate now. If you make an online contribution, please enter “Iroquois Nationals” as the purpose of your contribution.
This is our initial appeal as we prepare to send our team to the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Lacrosse Championships in Denver, Colorado from July 10-19, 2014. In the Blue Division, the Iroquois Nationals are ranked amongst the top six teams in the world, along with USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and England. Help us raise $40,000 by Friday, November 22 to reach our first goal. You can click here to donate now, and please enter “Iroquois Nationals”.
Fall Ball 2013
The two day Fall Ball Lacrosse Tournament featured Team Israel, 11-time NCAA National Championship Lacrosse Team, Syracuse University, Siena College and the Iroquois Nationals. We considered this to be part of our initial tryouts to determine who will be part of our team going to the FIL World Lacrosse Championships in Denver in 2014.
IN JULY 2012 AT THE WORLD LACROSSE TOURNAMENT IN TURKU, FINLAND WE DEFEATED TEAM USA FOR THE FIRST TIME AND PLACED #3 IN THE WORLD AND BROUGHT HOME A BRONZE MEDAL! Help us build on this great success by matching our $40,000 grant as we prepare for the FIL World Lacrosse Championships in 2014.
