Team USA scored 12 second half goals to overcome a 7-5 halftime deficit and defeat the Iroquois Nationals in their opening game of the FIL World Championships. Led by attackman Rob Pannell’s three goals and four assists, as well as a 17-for-19 performance at the X by face-off midfielder Trevor Baptiste, the U.S. dominated the second half en route to their opening victory. However in the first half, the Iroquois outplayed the U.S. in every aspect.
